Pros

Highest CNA pay in Lancaster area Quality company, good values Awesome Christmas bonuses Awesome scholarship opportunities! Time and a half holiday pay 2 dollar weekend differential +1 dollar per hour evening, +2 dollar per hour night shift Lots of freedom to pick up as many shifts as you want, whenever you want Overall pretty good coworkers, the nurses are awesome! We are a family!

Cons

Although most of the nurses are awesome and treat the aids well, there has been off and on bullying and unprofessional behavior from a few of the older CNAs/longtime workers/Lead CNAs and a few supervisors that hasn’t been taken seriously by the managerial staff. Especially with the merging of buildings. I wish these behaviors would be addressed seriously and in a uniform way across all floors and buildings, and in an understanding and private way that doesn’t elicit more bullying to the individual reporting them, or punishment. Many of the younger and new staff love their jobs and place at Willow Valley, it is an awesome place with lots of opportunity and a lot of caring individuals, and we often feel like a family. But, because of those few individuals, it can sometimes make work not feel safe. There needs to be a no tolerance for drama or bullying, keeping especially the longtime workers and supervisors accountable for their attitudes and behaviors, not just the new ones. Other than that, most of the workers there are awesome and it is a great place to work! I love my job, the residents, and the awesome opportunities it has given me!

Pros

The campus is always having classes or events that their employees can participate in. They have a fitness center and spa we can use. Plus wonderful restaurants/ cafes. Its a little village within itself.

Cons

Its growing so much that sometimes that can be overwhelming
