Pros

Some very good lawyers but the firm continues to lose talent at an alarming rate. Clique centric. Impossible to develop clients since partners who were introduced to clients by the firm's founders now do not reciprocate and hoard all contacts. So, since becoming a partner is tied to client relationships, you cannot advance. If you are happy making other people rich, then this is the place for you.

Cons

I noticed a number of surprisingly positive reviews. I think that the firm's marketing department must be submitting reviews or encouraging the placement of reviews to counter the departures of what must be about 30-40 lawyers so far this year. Unfortunately, the folks in the upper 1% of the pay scale do not care about the rest of the firm. The firm lives and dies by the motto " Management takes care of management". Many lawyers that have been there for years have the abused spouse look about them. Sad.

Pros

Offices are decent, it's a paycheck

Cons

By far a miserable place to work. In the IT field many years and I cannot believe how bad it is here. The CIO is a tyrant and will dismiss you and treat you like have no brain and you will be in fear of losing your job or you will be planning your next move out of here. If you value your skills and want to enjoy your job look elsewhere. Toxic environment.

Pros

Great PTO, the IT staff is a great group of people that are fun to work with.

Cons

The CIO runs the show but he is not a leader. He has no vision, not does he understand the environment. The CIO plays the blame game. He will find a way to minimize your input. You will get blame for a minor typo in a report even though you just resolved a major outage. If you want to work for narcissist, a complete idiot, then feel free to work for Wilson Elser. if you want to work for a CIO, that requires you to include him on every email, that wants to know when you arriving late, when you are working from home, then feel free to apply. Wilson elser IT department always have multiple position open. I have witness employee quitting in the middle of a conference call with the CIO, another employee quits after the CIO hard sever temper tantrums. worst CIO to work a complete idiot. As long as the CIO is stay far far away ...
