Pros

Insurance is good, if you can put up with the rest

Cons

From clerk, to PIC, to clerk again in less than a year. Management runs stores like their mini kingdom, promoting and demoting based on personal bias instead of actual merit. If you want to move up, make sure you’re buddy-buddy with the store manager and regional manager. Who you know is the only way to move up in this company.

Pros

Compensation for management was very good and insurance was top notch. The ESOP retirement plan was the best I've ever received.

Cons

Major burnout. Salary employees are expected to work 12-15 hours a day, alternating between nights and days. Upper management expectations were absolutely unobtainable. Lifestyle creep catches up to you quick with the compensation package that it becomes difficult to quit, and they know this. So you're stuck doing a job you hate until you can reduce your expenses back to where they were.
