Good starting job that you can move up quickly I

I’ve been promoted twice in this company and minimum wage was increased in Arizona in that time so now a starting clerk makes $1 less then I do after 4 years and being part of management

Benefits and the customers. Deli is fast paced but fun.

Cons

The point system. Get so many points and they let you go. Unfortunately i got too many because I'm a single mom who had trouble balancing work life and taking care of my child.

Pros

Great work environment, pretty laid back staff. I worked for Safeway for almost 4 years and I wish I started my career with Winco. After your 2nd year you start to accrue stocks with the company.

Cons

Coworkers like to start drama so if you keep your personal life personal and show up to work and do what’s asked of you, you should be fine.
