Pros

The benefits are great, on the job training helps you to be able to more around the store and learn more. The party is good at first. Helping customers feels good. The ability to more up, if they like you.

Cons

This company is all politics, They under Value reliable hard working employees. They care more about quantity over quantity. My manager treats us horrible and she never say s anything nice or complements our hard work, only finds things to complain about and she is lazy, she micro manages and adds more work for one person just so and can take her hour long breaks, (Which we don't get) only to come back and complain more. As Windows expectations of their employees is high, Hers are just impossible

Pros

Good Benefits if you can manage 100 hours a month (25 a week). bad base pay, dont make what you should make if youre a good worker. automatic Raise every 1040 hours. the amount depends on which dept you are in but usually 25-50 Cents a raise. its nice knowing you will get a raise every 6.5 months at fulltime but also feel like it should be performance based not time vested based. if you make it a long time 20+ years. you could retire with millions. not an exaggeration.

Cons

Ive been at winco for almost a year and the store as a whole has always been shorthanded, i work in the deli personally.

Pros

I worked the graveyard shift stocking freight and the team was staffed well.

Cons

I first worked for them back in 2011, but I had to take time off due to my grandmother ending up in the hospital. (I helped take care of her while my grandfather worked) I was let go due to having too many days off, but was told I was rehirable in six months. I ended up getting another job a few months later. I recently was laid off from them, and decided to try winco again. I got a call from a different Winco then that one I worked at, and got the interview, drug test and was hired, and went though orientation and even my first night of stocking. The next morning I was brought upstairs to the office and was told that there was a mistake from corporate and that I was not rehirable and that I would have to be let go. I explained the situation and that I was told I was rehirable by the manager at the Winco I worked at back in '11 but they said due to new management at that store they are unable to take my claim and only that of corporate.
