Pros

It's not a ton of work. You stand at the register, greet customers politely, ask them if they've found everything, scan their stuff as quickly as possible, get them paid out, and send them on their way. As a cashier, they rarely, if ever, ask you to do anything outside of your job description (you never have to mop or sweep). Keep your station clean, and keep busy-looking if it's slow. Otherwise, it's great. At my location, everyone is really nice. We're not all best friends or anything culty, but everyone is polite. It's also really easy to get time off as long as you're the first one on the board (just know ahead of time exactly what days you need off, and ask as quickly as possible).

Cons

The point-system really sucks. I called out because I had been in the emergency room the night before and had a doctor's note stating that I couldn't work for 72 hours (I was on some powerful drugs), and they still counted it against my points, and it almost led to me getting fired. It doesn't seem fair because it wasn't optional or pre-planned. I had a legitimate emergency and it racked up my points for a bogus reason. Also, sometimes customers are weird and tell you their entire life stories or sort of awkwardly sexually harass you. It's not that bad because you can just ignore them and get them checked out quickly. No one can touch you from behind the register, and there are cameras everywhere.

Pros

The benefits are incredible. The insurance includes medical, dental and vision coverage at under $60 a month for a family. Every employee who works at least 100 hours per month qualifies for benefits. They also qualify for stock ownership based on a percentage of their income. The stock is allocated yearly, not purchased. Paid vacation starts after a year of employment, beginning with a week and eventually tops out at a full month. They promote from within the company as much as possible. My current store manager started by throwing freight overnight. Because we own the company we have a personal stake in its success. Overall, if you show up for shifts on time, do you best work, and contribute to a pleasant working environment, you will fit right in.

Cons

The work is fast-paced and physically taxing. Expect to be on your feet for most of your day. Breaks and lunches are strictly enforced, and you can be disciplined for not taking them, or taking them too late. The attendance policy is also strict, so show up on time.

Pros

Company stock. Thats a bout it

Cons

Job posting said it was full time and start pay was $12 and some change but when i was signing their contract it said part time and starting wage was $11 and some change...Not enough thorough training before you are working by yourself. Was told to lift the mixer bowl (which is the biggest industrail size) by myself, which the person that was training me told me it was a 2 person job. They refill new ingredients on top of old in containers that obviously have not been washed for sometime and they do not use sanitizer while working.
