Pros

Amazing benefits!!!! I cannot stress that enough! under $40 per month for an entire family to get 85% paid PPO/dental/vision! ESOP (employee stock ownership) is amazing! it's free money! Room to advance if you are hard working, I know, I did! - Pay is also very good, in the portland market you top off at 17.75 (full time) part time (which is what most people are) is 13.50 or so. Pay increases are automatic, every 1040 hours you receive at least a .50 cent or so increase.

Cons

In my just under 5 years working at two stores I saw a lot of corporatism being implemented. I can say it definitely was and is not the company that originally hired me... Over corporatism creating too many high level high paying positions while benefits are being reduced (no more bonuses to the average employees etc) Bonuses to store management extremely disproportion to department managers. ESOP Value grows less every year if it grows at all! our last statement the esop value did not grow at all!

Pros

Employee owned company. The increase in ESOP annually makes for a bright future. Advancement opportunities. With multiple stores opening every year, the skies the limit. Benefits. Ranging from medical and dental to reductions in bills from associated vendors like Verizon Wireless. Busy. This can create many opportunities from a constant demand for something needing done to a never ending supply of new and interesting faces to interact with.

Cons

Busy. For people who don't like to work this can seem like a punishment job. Busy. Not all who work here are people persons and have difficulties with the volume of customers that come through the store.

Pros

ESOP, that's pretty much it. I really can't say anything other than ESOP and at least it's a job

Cons

Where to begin... Management is a joke. They don't care about us grunt employees and expect us to do twice the work in half the time. Machine has been broken since I began work and it still is not fixed. Scheduler has no idea what to do and cannot figure out how to spread out hours evenly. No way to talk to managers without worrying about losing your job.
