      Okay as a job to start out, but doesn't give employees much opportunity to grow.

      Pros

      Management is understanding, coworkers are usually nice, breaks and lunches are always given

      Cons

      After working there for a long period of time, they cut your hours. Seniority doesn't mean anything, expected to work very hard and get everything done in little time. If you do work hard, you may not get promoted even if you've been there for awhile. Attendance is very strict, cannot be more than two minutes early or late. Not sure how this can be classified as employee owned, never received benefits after working full time for several months. Schedule is given one week in advance.

      Pros

      The pros of working for WinCo are the health insurance and their ESOP program.

      Cons

      So many cons to working for them! If you don't like to be appreciated for the hard work that you do without complaining and like to be mistreated as the employees that screw off at work (and whose slack you have to pick up) get offered better positions and better hours, or if you like working for a place where seniority means nothing, then by all means work for them.
