Non-Inclusive Company

Pros

Wonderful, dedicated, hard working people in stores and warehouses. Excellent health insurance cost/value, ESOP is good.

Cons

Non-inclusive employer (especially if you are female.) Glass ceiling starts at the entrance to the C-Suite, although also very difficult for women to move into store management with schedule expectations. Used to be a great company, but HR VP and several other Senior leaders are driven by ego, and lack integrity. They have significantly changed the culture of the company from 'employee owned' to 'C-Suite owned'. Leaders visit stores, berate store managers and then wonder why morale is bad. Some of these very same leaders, used to be in stores and know how ineffective this style of leadership is, yet they end up falling in line.
