Very good hours, mainly because it was a high volume 24hr store

Cons

You cant be more than 3 minutes late. They have this really strict points system. When working a 7hr shift you only get a 10 MINUTE break, that includes walking to the back break room from the registers.

Pay scale takes awhile to raise, retail grocery trending down, and cutting costs falls hardest on employees.

Pros

At Winco foods everyone seems more like a family instead of co-workers. Enjoy the fast paced work environment while working as a team.

Cons

The deli/seafood department can get very busy and sometimes there is not enough staff to help with the customer demand so it can feel very stressful. Management seems to always be hounding employees to get things done even though it is very clear that the store is really busy yet they still expect 100% on everything.
