A solid company with good communities but they save a little too much money on staffing.
Pros
This company offers decent benefits and the teams are all composed of good people. I haven’t met anyone I disliked at any level of management. They are actively trying to improve and the type of apartments they manage are usually on the higher end of middle class.
Cons
The commission system they use for ALC positions has unfortunate consequences. Because you do not receive commission until a month after an applicant actually moves in (sometimes more than two months after a tour), things can feel confining. If you leave the company, you lose all of your earned commissions that have yet to move in. This leads to people staying in their role longer than they want to, and causes some team members to be a drag on morale. They can’t leave and entry level leasing isn’t really something you want to do for more than a year or two. Promotion opportunities are rare and incredibly competitive among ALCs.
