Pros

I've worked with Windsor for over 10 years in many different roles - I initially started as a marketing rep and over my tenure have moved into a property management role. I've found Windsor to be an incredibly supportive company who has great training, promotes from within and has a culture that truly values their employees.

Cons

Depending on where you are located the potential for growth can be different. If you are in an area of the country that has fewer properties, it can take longer to be promoted as there are not opportunities if you aren't willing to move. Windsor does a great job of retaining long term employees -- so moving up in the company doesn't always happen quickly.

Good company, good pay

Pros

Can advance into management, no cap on commission and bonus as a leasing agent. I have done commission jobs before and this is the best structure out there.

Cons

Weekend hours, female dominated field, so some unavoidable office cattiness.

Hard work gets rewarded

Pros

The people are generally great. So many long-tenured folks in the corporate office. Upper management is kind and reasonable. Pay is not the best at first, but they mostly promote from within, so if you work hard and prove your value, it will be rewarded.

Cons

The regional VPs have a lot of autonomy in their regions to shape policy, etc. It's kind of a crap shoot. Some of them are adored by their employees but some of them are pretty hard to work for.
