Pros

Perks, benefits, vacation pto time.

Cons

Over the last 5 years, they lost touch with team members. Offers not fulfilled, tnured people were encouraged to leave to bring in cheaper team members. If you bring up you feel you were sexually harassed, or harassed about age, the swept it under the rug. Very disappointing how I was treated the last 5 years. Not sure why I have not pursued legal representation, maybe because the first 30 years were wonderful. After 35 years, not even a exit interview.

This is not the experience we would want for any associate. We take accusations of any type of harassment very seriously and every exiting associate is given the opportunity to share feedback. We invite you reach out to the human resources team at HR@windsorcommunities.com to share more about your experience.

Pros

Training programs - if your willing to learn Windsor will pay to get you certified Benefits - Hsa matching, dental, and overall the benefits are better than past companies I've worked for

Cons

don't value employees since Tom Slong became the president. He comes from Greystar which aren't the greatest. Windsor used to carry itself on standards and sale itself as an experience. In meetings the host would compare Windsor to the Disney experience. Lately it's been more like a 2 star hotel experience. properties dirty, we raised rent with no warning forcing people out and claimed to have things we actually cut due to budgets cuts for example porters and housekeeping. There is so much gossip here it's like back in highschool, this would be the crowd I'd avoid! Lots of favoritism Just do not do it there are too many opportunities instead of cutting yourself short and joining this headache.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m glad you found our benefits package to be generous. Our goal is to provide a work environment that is rewarding and supportive for all associates, and to provide our residents with an outstanding living experience. When things go wrong, we want to fix them. Our associates are encouraged to reach out and raise concerns, speak with their managers so team dynamic issues can be addressed, and we strive for the day-to-day experience to reflect our values of being inclusive and energizing. I wish you all the best in whatever you have chosen to do next.

Pros

-strong training program, great for those new to the industry -mentorship program for new hires -room for advancement, promoting from within -membership to BetterUp Care Coaching program and therapy through BetterHelp

Cons

-new values in place, not valuing employees in the same way they used to, getting a bad rap in the industry -lots of employees leaving and going to competitor PM companies -lower pay than several competitors, not willing to negotiate -pushes employees to absolute maximum workload wise, would rather people leave than actually acknowledge and solve problems

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I appreciate your acknowledgement of our training program, mentorship, advancement opportunities and the emphasis we place on associate well-being, as demonstrated by the coaching available to all associates through BetterUp. Our new values of being Accountable, Energizing, Inclusive and Courageous are meant to help all associates understand what kind of workplace we are looking to provide. Our goal is not to burn anyone out, and that’s unfortunate if you felt that way. I appreciate and agree with you that supporting our associates and listening to their concerns is important. All the best to you at your new company.
