Staffing shortage. Minimum pay high expectations

The executives and some of the buyers are very old school. They don’t do well with change and it really hold back others that are trying to grow. They overwork you and underpay! I was told I was too young at the time to get a promotion. They would use me where they could to their benefit and say it was for experience. The position Logistics Coordinator is a warehouse job and they make they logistics do assistant buyer work but don’t want to pay them like an assistant buyer. A lot of promotions came with power trips. It got very dictated at some points and specific departments were more toxic than others. Executives love to hear what they want to hear and will promote based off of favoritism. Upper management will come in moody and take it out on you and you just have to walk on egg shells. I had a manger at the time who came in to work moody and I asked a question and she put her hand in my face and told me I was annoying. They were horrible to their employees during covid. I had to use hours to care for someone at home due to covid and I was denied my hours because they said that wasn’t allowed, and after a I sent them all the requirements by the state to use covid hours they ignored me and denied the hours.
