Pros

- Takes ~88 hours or so until you’re fired for bad time - If you’re fortunate to be placed with like minded coworkers, friends can be made and days go by faster.

Cons

- Production supervisors will generally treat you like you’re a convict. - Managers will lie to you. - Unrealistic expectations in production. - Not enough pay. - High turnover rate. - Disconnect between management and lower level employees. - Old and often obsolete equipment. - Short 2x 10minute breaks. 1x 30 minute unpaid lunch. - Quality is questionable. - Engineers shouldn’t be trusted to make a working mousetrap. -Supervisors shouldn’t be trusted to manage a McDonalds.

Pros

Great Work environment. Family based company with great benefits packages and respectful, informative executives. A lot of knowledge and help is around you no matter which part of the plant you work in.

Cons

Positions handed to people just because they've been here longer than others who may be more qualified. The pay isn't quite that great, they sort of control the market in the area though.

Decent compnay

Pros

Pay is pretty decent, most weekends off, benefits are pretty good although they go up in price every year. Plenty of personal time.

Cons

Don't work on line 1. Line one is the workhorse line and gets all the overtime. 50 hour weeks for months while the other 2 lines get 40. Also line 1 is where Saturdays are mandatory while the other lines maybe work 1 or 2 Saturdays a year. Also the line manager is very condescending and treats people like their lesser than him.
