Not a healthy place

Pros

At first, it felt like a welcoming place, but over time the environment became overly micromanaged and overly focused on minor details. Even when the overall quality of work was strong and exceeded expectations, the feedback often centered on small issues—such as formatting or footnote placement—which were treated as major shortcomings, while the overall quality and substance of the work were overlooked.

Cons

The root cause of the problem was the lack of meaningful work, combined with excessive micromanagement. Much of the effort went into managing insecurities at the partner level rather than focusing on producing quality legal work.
