Pros

Good working environment most of the time. You are able to work without daily micromanagement. There are fairly good benefits withthe state. You are able to get some training from time to time

Cons

Difficult to get raises. Technical support organizations need improvement. You movement up the ladder dependend too much on relationships rather than performance.

The region is a wonderful area to live. The faculty are a wonderful group of faculty, in general.

Cons

There are no negative retributions to faculty if they do not do an adequate job. The administration does not always follow through with policy.
