Pros

The company promotes from within and advances careers based on meritocracy.

Cons

Think of Winsupply as an investment company, not a wholesaler. They provide services to their network of local companies. Winsupply has an expectation that local companies support all their initiatives and pay the fees for these services. Winsupply also has negotiated deals with most manufactures to receive rebates on most local company purchases. This often creates situations where local companies are not cost competitive against their competition, then are forced to cut margin to be market competitive. Last thought. Winsupply likes to market there is a "owner under every roof." This is misleading. Presidents at local companies can own shares of the company, but they serve at the discretion of Winsupply.
