Strict adherence to 9.5 hours time rule in india offices(below a certain band), the culture of wasting time in office over water cooler/coffee to complete the above said 9.5 hours in office, leaving the office at 6PM is frowned upon, the appreciation of associates who stay in office until 9PM regardless of work stress(associates/managers share interactions which puts the associate in manager's good books)
