Career Progression and salary hikes are inversely proportional to knowledge and performance, to make it safe for the HR no transparency on the link between performance and salary hikes or promotions. As the boss puts it do not look at the perosn who did the job look at the job in isolation which also translates to job has to be done even if the person is killed. Value employees across bands as humans - u need not give a business class tickets to all onsite employees - atleast make sure they could get a direct flight to their destination if there is one or the shortest route rather than jus the cheapest flight. - Thank God I didn't have to travel on a cargo plane but wouldn't be surprised if asked to by the company.
