Salaries out of step with industries they serve, thus difficult to attract/keep staff with deep industry knowledge and capability. Focus on delivery, not necessarily depth of analysis and advice. Slow to respond to market changes.

Too embedded in old ways to really effect the change they claim to desire. The sad fact is, they claim to want to do things differently, be innovative, and so on and so forth, but they would rather not do that. Instead of letting the experts do their jobs to get the job done, they committee things to death and then take the worst possible route to get the job completed and settle for substandard practices because they wish to play it safe. Be warned - you work here, and every creative idea, new idea, new concept, or innovative play you wish to make will be stomped on or essentially destroyed.
