Pros

Very fulfilling job with wonderful people. Benefits are fantastic, lots of sick and vacation time and affordable health care. Upper management really cares about direct care staff. Plenty of events (recognition dinner, holiday luncheon, fundraisers, etc.) that anyone can attend. Lots of room for advancement, with opportunities to receive help with tuition or student loans. I've worked here 8+ years and the last few years it's gotten better and better.

Cons

Need to modernize to electronic records (currently in the long process.)

Pros

Unique population that you are able to work with. Learned a lot about rare genetic disorders / autism nutrition care.

Cons

Job was advertised as clinical, but ended up being highly focused on food services. You get to complete nutrition assessments, but you also need to work a lot on individualized menus.
