Pros

Working as a GIS Draftee at Woolpert was a good experience. They offer great insurance and treat employees fairly. Annual raises and bonuses are a nice perk, though the base salary could be a bit higher.

Cons

Honestly, there aren't many downsides. It's been a generally positive experience.

Pros

I've been with Woolpert for over three years, and the constant commitment to improvement is impressive. There's strong transparency from the top, and they really focus on keeping morale high. The growth strategy is solid, and the talented team makes it a great place to work.

Cons

The bonus plan could be explained better. The financial aspects are solid, but the communication around it is sometimes confusing.

Pros

I've worked at awful companies (big and small) and on gov contracts. Woolpert is by far the best company I've ever worked for. I have a department director who always supports the team. I have options to advance my career. Continuous learning opportunities. I love it here!

Cons

There was a salary adjustment across the technical people, but not in my department. Apparently being paid up to 20% less than the median salary for your role and years of experience is how they want to operate. At least, in my department! Knowing people with far less experience being hired in at rates higher than my current salary is frustrating. Also, you could win millions of dollars for your proposal and you MIGHT get a thank you.
