Pros

Woolpert's leadership are engaged and approachable. The project portfolio is well rounded, diverse, and interesting. There are some very good employees, and have made several, what I expect to be, life long friends.

Cons

At times it can be challenging to introduce new technology and processes. It's also challenging to discern where the company is investing internally.

Pros

Tons of opportunity to advance my career. Lots of possible career paths that I see as available for me to transition in to. Upper management is very open to discussing my growth within Woolpert. Corporate culture is amazing and respects my work/personal life.

Cons

It can be difficult to understand what each Market within Woolpert is responsible for. Sometimes I see markets working on projects that don't appear to belong to that Market.

Pros

>>People really care for each other >>New leader inspires people to be their best--This profile has Steve Phipps as the leader, and while he is Chairman of the Board, Scott Cattran is the new President/CEO, and was our COO during 2015, a great and profitable year for Woolpert employees. >>New benefits are being added to achieve their goal to be an employer of choice >>Leadership asks for feedback regularly from employees and applies it to make business and employee life better >>Fun office events (on and off premises) sponsored by the company >>Profit-sharing program

Cons

Nothing worth mentioning that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Work is work is work. At least this company makes it a priority to make sure to let you know that it aims to help citizens and the environment at a local and national level.
