Very "Red" Company Culture

Pros

Flexibility to work remotely, benefits are decent and there is opportunity for growth.

Cons

Teams are spread out; leadership is changing a lot and it's hard to really get guidance on things. Org maturity is not there either even though they've been in the industry a long time, there are some significant growing pains.

We have been very purposeful to create a workplace and culture that is inclusive of all people. The global reach of our business expands our awareness and sensitivity to DEI and the many cultures and cognitive diversity that make us an industry leading firm. Our inclusion and diversity network that extends to employees, clients, and partners has enabled Woolpert to truly grow as a company. We are committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce and so it remains a key company focus. As far as a “red culture” this is simply inaccurate. As we expand our business and look to those that embrace our industry, we meet with lawmakers and candidates across both party lines to showcase what Woolpert has to offer. We do not endorse any political position or party.

Work Not Valued

Pros

- Amazing and helpful co workers - Great pay - Flexible - Great place to learn new skills and advance

Cons

- Healthcare is worse than what you’d get at a grocery store - Work is not valued. You can take on several calls, solve many client issues, and put full effort into projects and you will rarely receive appreciation - They currently do not have the correct people to support or train Junior folks (at least my manager David couldn’t). I wouldn’t recommend working in any tech role here as a Junior. - Many people are doing this job just for the money because you can become an associate and receive profit share. Not the best environment to work in when you can tell most people don’t actually enjoy what they do. - Very outdated HR and Payroll software. You end up wasting a lot of time having to manually input your own paycheck every week on a Friday.

Many employees would agree the best part about working at Woolpert are our great employees, flexible work environment, competitive benefits, and the opportunity to advance new skills. While all managers are not the same, we provide leadership training to support our managers in creating the best environment for employees. Employee feedback tools are used to identify areas of opportunity and engage in continuous improvement to address problems with managers.

There are many things to enjoy at Woolpert. Great employees, flexible work schedules, and our supportive leadership team. While all managers are not the same, we provide learning opportunities for all managers and employees to continuously support a great work culture.
