Pros

Base pay is better than typical for recruiting industry.

Cons

120+ phone calls a day. Fear based management, training is all over the place, and management uses hostile language when criticizing your performance. Management was also very moody and unpredictable. The epitome of unprofessional.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We completely understand your frustration and are fully aware that our particular field is not for everybody. We’re sorry you felt that our management team was unprofessional. Our management team is comprised of industry veterans who have seen the successes and failures of account executives over the past several decades. Some of their approaches may seem unconventional but it is because they know how to get the best out of their employees. We do wish you the best of luck in your career and hope you are able to find an organization whose management style jives more with your personality. If you do wish to elaborate on your review, we are always listening. Just give us a call and we will be happy to hear what else you have to say. We want our organization and all learning styles to be in a position of success at WorkRocket, and unfortunately, we were unable to do so in your case.

Pros

Professional growth - I started at WorkRocket after graduating from college about 3 years ago; this is really my first job out of school. I am learning so much about business and becoming knowledgeable about the recruiting and staffing industries - along many diverse professional verticals, too. It's nice to have clients spread across multiple industries (manufacturing, real estate, construction, software, etc...) because I am learning so much about varied types of businesses which is helping me grow as a professional overall. Money - Significantly above average income. I'm in my third year in the business now and will likely reach six-figures. I was pretty close in my second year also.

Cons

If you prefer to be outside or traveling this is not for you. 95% of your day is in the office on the phone making sales calls and managing client accounts.

Pros

Management has done an excellent job creating a sales job where the sales people feel in control of their individual business and can make decisions that impact their success and income daily while also receiving the support and guidance they need to grow without feeling micromanaged. Sales reps see the market as abundant and not scarce and from that are supportive of other's success. Sales reps training other sales reps is very common. The pay is excellent and will reward people who work hard and smart. The additional contests and annual incentive trip are icing on the already great cake.

Cons

You will get back what you put in. Must be willing to learn and work hard.
