Concerns Regarding Recent reviews

Pros

Recent feedback concerning the India team has been disheartening, reflecting broader concerns about strategic direction and transparency. Notably, Workday has begun offering certifications during Workday Rising events for as little as $99. While this initiative could potentially increase accessibility, it raises questions—especially given the company's traditionally closed certification and training ecosystem. Workday has fooled around people by launching some very foundational course of Workday in their Workday Learn Program . In that also they are selling it with some price. For customers side they don't give certificate of completion as well. Looks like rather than their product their bottom line lies with certifications revenue :)

Cons

In contrast to the open learning models adopted by platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure, this move appears inconsistent. On one hand, Workday emphasizes exclusivity within its ecosystem; on the other, it is actively promoting widespread enablement through low-cost certification drives. A quick glance at their LinkedIn page suggests a strong push to build a larger pool of certified consultants through these public forums. For the Indian workforce, this situation echoes familiar patterns seen with US-based enterprise software providers—where local talent is hired under ambitious promises but often faces structural challenges, including abrupt layoffs. These developments raise valid concerns about long-term sustainability and equity in global delivery practices.
