In a time where most solutions look the same, Workday continues to invest heavily in product knowledge and has a lesser focus on the selling side of customer engagement. If you are coming to Workday and have excellent selling skills, you must know that those skills are less valued than your expertise on the product. It's expected that you are on slack pretty much during all working hours. . . the unwritten rule. While most people are open to new ideas, be careful who you share them with as they may not be as receptive. There are some "leaders" manager that are new and inexperienced and are "yes" people. These people can become a problem for those that have a tendency to want to improve things and make things better. There is also a lack of leadership development in people leaders and it shows very much.
