"Employees-first" culture is taken too far, it breeds entitlement and mediocrity. There are too many tenured employees who think things should stay the same as 10 years ago, and everyone should have a say in how things are done. In some pockets employees have a very difficult time being 'accepted' into the culture, especially if not based at HQ. Very in-person focused and cliquey.

Workday has its share of inept and toxic managers with significant tenure (blind eye is given to their behaviors). So your experience will be highly dependent on who you report to. As long as you report to one of the solid managers who show real leadership then you’re likely to have a great experience.
