Pros

If you can overlook the outlook of the company, raises not even indexed for inflation, poor management, and a poor political environment..... they have snacks.

Cons

The PSM group does not have the proper management to lead them, they have a poor vision, and no prospects of good leaders to come. Please note that the company has dollar signs as its bottom line and does not staff the PSM group sufficiently to be in compliance with the XBRL guidelines, which is the core of the PSM group. They lie to entice you in the door…. we will give you work/life balance. If you consider 80 hour work weeks for approximately 5 to 6 months out of the year work/life balance. It is public accounting without the prestige. Do yourself a favor and avoid Workiva.

Pros

Paid well with flexibility and trust to manage my personal life and work. Work is meaningful and I have the ability to make a difference. Feel supported by my manager and peers within my department.

Cons

We talk about collaboration but very few do it well. There are so many "cooks in the kitchen" when it comes to projects and decision making that it often feels like a waste of time and resources to move things forward.
