Pros

+ Good place to start your career + Individual contributors are mostly good people who want to do well and work hard + Good benefits + Plenty of opportunity for improvement + This was my family for 10 years

Cons

- Compensation is ok but pay is better elsewhere - Still a young company looking for an identity - Out of startup phase so they have a defined corporate structure - Prefer to hire talent than develop from within (limited career path) - Managers only focused on their own careers, not the careers/lives of their direct reports - Lack of empathy from leadership for employees - No interest in or loyalty to many/most employees

Pros

- Great people. - Due to the open format of chat channels, it is typically simple to get assistance from more seasoned members of the company. - Company perks are nice - Diversity-friendly - CEO is great, company all-hands are entertaining to watch.

Cons

- Dealing with the workforce management system is tiresome. A lot of people have complained, management just doubles down. - Although the Support team was given opportunity to hone their talents in specific areas of our product, that didn't really happen. For many, this means that even if they are formally part of a smaller team, they are essentially still responsible for supporting the full product line. No chances for them to specialize past surface level knowledge.
