Amazing people doing important work - yet lack of job security and transparency from the top.

- Genuinely kind & gracious people who care about the mission. - Large, name brand charity working to alleviate poverty. - Important work making a true impact in the world.

Cons

- Organizationally a mess, re-orgs every year, your job will be eliminated at some point. In my situation, me and my colleague were let go and our position was combined into one. We then had to each compete against each other to get the new role. - Lack of training for people managers making them subpar at their job. - Lots of waste of time, money, energy, people and resources.
