Pros

Good pay and benefits, flexibility in how you get your job done. Some very bright people to work with. Most everyone you run into is nice on a personal level. One of the few companies left who aren't forcing people back in to the office. Diversity and Inclusivity aren't just limited to minority groups - in addition to all the usual 'identity' stuff, they actually support things like prayer groups.

Cons

The company culture allows B players to linger on forever and the Peter Principle is pervasive across middle management, so anyone with a driven personality and a good work ethic is likely to find themselves having to pull more than their fair share of the weight simply to make up for those who aren't. There is no path to advance here. After years of 'working on it' (see above re: B players), an incomplete career growth plan was issued for a limited selection of job types. Opportunities for advancing in to management roles are very rare to appear and often filled via external hires. Time and again existing managers who have failed in their roles are simply shuffled in to new roles at the same level under guise of 'reorg' instead of being moved out to make room for new blood. Make no mistake - you will be in your role or limited to making lateral moves during your stay here, until such time as the pay and benefits no longer distract you from the fact that you are treading water and it's time to move on.

Rather Disappointing

Pros

You work with some great people. Benefits are decent, and the 4x10 schedule is great once you acclimate.

Cons

Counterproductive management. The supervisor for my team was a nightmare. Did not have the attitude or experience for their position. I spent an excessive amount of time smoothing out the interpersonal issues they created, and this individual was easily the most disliked person in leadership in our building. Upper management seemed less than interested in rectifying the issue, even though it negatively affected the entire supply chain in our warehouse. Even going to someone on the board did nothing more than put a target on my back, and HR just paid me and my team a bunch of lip service. I feel like I was bullied into quitting by my supervisor. The company has also obviously over invested in AI, causing many quality of life cutbacks in the NAIC buildings, and I am sure elsewhere.
