Pros

The culture and Core Values of this company are awesome. There is a consistent search for process improvement and fine-tuning of the professional services suite of services. In general there are good opportunities to learn and grow into new technologies and roles.

Cons

The culture of promotion has gotten a little out of hand. Promotions are a "selling point" to employees but the company does a lot of management appointment instead of vetting, which seems to be leading to a tremendous amount of middle management and many that need a great deal more training in managing people.

Thank you for all your hard work. The PS (Professional Services) TEAM is tasked with providing very complex solutions for our customers. Often this involves travel and extra time on projects to get things right. All this being said, we need to do our best to balance this. Thanks for your feedback and I will be sure to share it Good luck.

Pros

World Wide is a very open and friendly business to be a part of. They have a culture of open and clear communication from upper management to all layers of the company, and in most cases stick to their promise of there being "no surprises." The people that I have a chance to work with are all friendly, positive, team players, and this is indicative of the company as a whole. World Wide goes out of their way to hire people that will make the work environment as nice as possible. They also provide a great benefits package, including the most affordable health insurance you are likely to see from any company you may find yourself at. In addition to the standard benefits, they are open to telecommuting when your role allows it, which really shows their dedication to a positive work-life balance. Company funded events are relatively common, and range from outings to boost team trust and camaraderie, to project/program happy hours, to corporate parties for holidays. Perhaps the best part of working here has been the lack of stress about job security. From what I have seen, this is a very stable environment, and downsizing of any departments in the office side of the operation seems to be rare or non-existent. Oh, and the dress code is great. It basically boils down to "Don't wear shorts. Flip Flops are OK."

Cons

They preach "no-surprises" and stick to it for the most part, but that makes it incredibly jarring and alarming when there IS a surprise in decision making from upper management. The culture has been shifting to something slightly more corporate recently, with a bit less leniency in certain areas, and a reduction in the frequency and scale of company funded events mentioned above. You can't wear shorts.
