A positive experience as a student employee.

Pros

As a student, there was a great degree of flexibility with my class schedule. I was able to make my own hours and come and go as I pleased. Also there was understanding that, as a student, there are other priorities than work. As a student this is perhaps the best you could ever ask for in a job.

Cons

The compensation is pretty much minimum wage or a touch above, but as a student this isn't too unexpected.

Quite the experience

Pros

Decent benefits including tuition coverage for employees. Opportunities to attend lectures and events on campus. Free use of fitness facility on campus.

Cons

Pay raises have been stagnant for the seven years which has resulted in other universities in the Dayton area paying $10 $15 k more a year in identical positions. Very poor management and accountability in many departments.

Pros

Great flex hours, good pay, and if you work with good people its a great job for a college student.

Cons

Very boring, and can be stressful with management constantly hinting that they are about to lose important contract / run out of money.
