Pros

My supportive co workers who are always there to help. The families and kiddos I had the opportunity to spend time with and have built relationships with. Making a difference and flexible schedules. Was able to work remotely.

Cons

My supervisor. Lack of support to accomplish anything. Supervisions should help someone understand what they need to work on.. Not have you leaving more confused than before you got there. Consistency. Communication on ALL levels and never once appreciated. As a young professional in the field of social work this company has literally traumatized me in a way that made me lose my ability to trust others.

Pros

Some benefits. Coworkers were nice. At least I know to avoid places like this in the future.

Cons

Management knows nothing about mental health, no supervision provided, therapists are stretched way too thin. I was told they were still “developing” the job role when I was hired. Which ended up meaning they just kept adding responsibilities to my role without extra pay or telling me how I was supposed to find the time to achieve these responsibilities. No direct supervisor the majority of the time I was there because the previous one quit due to burnout, and they couldn’t find a replacement. CEO is well known to not care about clients. Building is super old. Several other therapists quit after I did, and they experienced a therapist walkout in the beginning of 2018. Everyone is disposable to them. Toxic work environment to a tee.
