Pros

Culinary health insurance is a big pro, along with being union. It's a very tight-knit group at the pool, so we are truly one big family. The money is great during peak season. Love the employee dining room and 1 hour break

Cons

There is minimal shade at the pool, and the 110+ degree days can be brutal. It's a tip pool, so most days you will be making less than what you brought in. Our tips go on our paycheck and cash tips hardly go over $50, but it's bonus pocket money. You can't request days off from May-September. When the season ends, you will not make any money, and trying to go inside to work the casino floor is a nightmare. Be prepared to find a second job or you will have to rely on unemployment for income during the winter.
