Management was not accommodating in advancement. I constantly found myself fighting the system for advancement in the company. (No Room for improvement and growth). The culture of the company became increasingly toxic, to the point that I wanted to quit working there.

Pros

This is the best hospitality company I have ever worked for! Great pay, great managers, great employee recognition and appreciation, and a strong potential for growth and promotion if one is passionate enough, especially at Front Office. The "five star" culture is evident in everything they do!

Cons

There is a lot of pressure to not make mistakes, and a lot of politics and favoritism the higher you move up. They really hold employees to a supremely high standard, sometimes ridiculously so. In order to survive and move up here, people have to really like you! But I guess that's true for any job.
