      - Wyzant let's you work at your own schedule/availability - Wyzant is also flexible for both online and in person tutoring - You can set your own pay rate per hour... however you will need to look to see what other tutors in your subject are pricing at. - You can tutor multiple different subjects; if you were approved. -They have a classroom with distinctive features like a whiteboard, sharing files, code editor, symbols, shapes, etc.... - They have a forum to help new tutors learn to succeed. - You do not need a degree to become a tutor, although it is recommended that you have one.

      Cons

      - You usually begin by applying to jobs on the job board; Applying to jobs is a tedious task and you might have to apply to 20+ jobs or more to gain a single student request. You will need to check your profile multiple times a day for job postings. - It can take months to get your first lesson... especially if you have no lessons previously tutored or any reviews. Reviews help alot. - There is also a huge amount of competition from other tutors in your subjects. - While degrees are not required only recommended, you must be approved in all subjects you tutor by submitting written qualifications or by passing a subject test. - Not everyone who applies to Wyzant is approved as a tutor. They have a filter for new applicants in that you will need to write a bio of your qualifications, and you have a limited amount of attempts to succeed.
