      Pros

      At least those who got laid off got decent severance packages.

      Cons

      Twitter used to be a place where people could thrive, grow, and be treated like adults who have adult lives. The result was we could produce our best work. Now it's turned into a sweatshop that measures success in LoC rather than actual impact. Run away.

      Pros

      Before: Great benefits (tons of stuff for new parents, wellness, WFH, etc.), great teams, lots of opportunities to move around inside the company. After: None, none at all.

      Cons

      The board really said that getting a payout then getting fired would be better than having a job and called that "fulling a fiduciary duty to our shareholders". Oof.
