      Was wonderful, then Elon took over.

      Pros

      The people are really nice and genuine (except Elon).

      Cons

      There were numerous benefits to working at Twitter; however, after Elon bought the company those benefits were whittled away. Before Elon, the environment was very professional and decisions were made with proper thought behind them. After Elon, things were done impulsively without company collaboration. It went from the best place I ever worked to a chaotic mess. The people are still wonderful - they just now have poor leadership. I feel bad for those that stayed or have not found a new job.

      Little at this point but some good and hard working people left from pre-acquisition who strive to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment

      Cons

      Love or hate CEO, huge swaths of teams and employees laid off recently with unclear reasoning. No firm company vision or OKRs, intense work culture. Terminations in the middle of the night, leadership emails at any time of day or night on any day of the week with short turnaround expectations. Overall it’s the worse company environment I’ve ever seen after a decade in corporate tech. Company seems to be in a downward spiral.
