Pros

Still small enough to know most everyone. Very good HR. I enjoyed working for Lloyd, don't know the new guy. My Federal Government customer was great to work for. I enjoyed the volunteer work they afforded me. Overall, very satisfying work experience.

Cons

Small business growing pains. Limited career development opportunities. Change in leadership. Limited to position on Federal contract.

Pros

Human Resources Department is excellent, benefits package and 401K are solid and competitive, and the employees are generally of high caliber, both in terms of education, skill sets and personality, and professionalism. Strong relationships can be formed here. Their recruiters do a great job and the company provides reimbursement for education and continued learning and training opportunities as well, for those who seek it. They also will give preference to deserving employees on promoting or moving them on up to other contracts as needed or upon request, when doable.

Cons

There is a often a disconnect between upper management and the employees since most employees work as service contractors on-site with the clients (mostly federal government agencies.) Efforts might be being made to correct this. Because of the absence or poor relationship management seems to have had with clients, employees are being treated poorly. Additionally, or subsequently, there is very low morale and many also feel underutilized and not justly compensated for qualifications they have and work they were hired to do.
