Pros

Really can't name any...ok, wait!!!! No, that was at another job.

Cons

Salary, local management team must've been charity hires, TOXIC environment unlike anything I've ever seen. Procurement CANNOT negotiate with carriers.....blame is deflected onto the sales floor for all the mistakes made elsewhere in the company!

Pros

Great team members and lots of opportunity to learn new things. The company is willing to put money into new technology, and they're taking great strides to improve inclusion and diversity.

Cons

Prior to COVID, the company policy prohibited telecommuting. Once COVID arrived in the US, state work from home mandates came and employees transitioned to working remote. Employees stepped up and proved that they can get just as much done and more. Unfortunately XPO firmly states that they will not permit employees to telecommute once the work from home mandates are no longer in place, despite continuous feedback from employees asking for the flexibility to be permanent, even if just a few days a week instead of full time remote. Also, favoritism comes into play with telecommuting. Despite the policy against it, there are employees that are granted permission to work from home 100%. That seems like a risky precedent to set; if it is available to some employees, it should be extended to all. Work life balance at one time was loosely described by the CEO as: If you're happy at work, your life is in balance. In order to meet your deadlines and goals, you will work a LOT of hours. Their PTO/time off policy is not competitive. New hires are offered two weeks of PTO per year, while the most senior employee will receive no more than 5 weeks of PTO and maybe a floating holiday, after celebrating their 15th anniversary with XPO. Lastly, decisions are made from the top without assessing the downstream impacts, resulting in unrealistic deadlines and expectations.
