Pros

Paid weekly Bonus potential Health benefits Vacation time At one time the promotion opportunities (non existent now)

Cons

-Upper management always talked down. -Management has brought in numerous people from outside the company to run the Atlanta terminal, but none of them knows how to manage any part of the operation and they have to depend on their subordinates to do their jobs for them (should have just hired from within the company). -Several supervisors have been promoted beyond their abilities and should have remained hourly employees. -Almost all of the senior supervisors have recently left XPO because of low pay, lack of advancement opportunities, lack of respect from senior management, working 12+ hours consistently five days a week, new OMs and terminal managers being hired from outside the company instead of promoted from within, and no bonuses despite the company’s profitability. -safety record is dismal. A tenured supervisor recently died on company property from a work related incident.

Pros

PTO time starts day one as do paid holidays and insurance. Vision, Dental, Health, 401k, and now stock options. Great co-workers who are always willing to help. Good work schedule.

Cons

pay is too low and not consistent with abilities. new hires are walking in making more than some of us who have been here years. management doesn't have our backs when it comes to dealing with other departments. they're always too scared to "rock the boat". No work from home options. They make very impactful changes (like moving us from one location to another) without any heads up or discussion- we found out because there were boxes waiting for us when we came back to work on a Monday). Hard to get promoted or recognition unless you're one of the "favorites".
