      Good place to work, compensation is good but growth opportunities are limited

      Pros

      Good compensation. Learning opportunities and some of the leading clients in the North American telecom market. A good and enjoyable group of people working at the ground level.

      Cons

      Vision of the higher management is limited. The higher management should learn to invest more and think bigger. Growth opportunities and career advancement is very limited here.

      I was contracted by Xavient to MUFG Bank on a two year+ contract. It was against contractor policy to discuss transitioning to a full time role; it was against the contract to apply as an FTE and try to work at the client site. Fine, I said, I'm happy with the job and it's a long term contract so I'll stay with it. Exactly three months from date of hire entire team is let go due to 'project direction' changes. Turns out there was an internal political squabble and project continued; Xavient just wanted to make client happy and did not take the side of the employees. Xavient ruined months of peoples lives through unethical lay offs just to satisfy a client with no proof or basis on their complaint.
