Pros

The people are genuinely good, and smart. As you go higher up the org chart, that starts to change.

Cons

It's a very vertical company, many, many layers between the doers and the C-Suite. If you're managing managers of managers, what are you really contributing? They've been cutting US staff aggressively to replace them with cheap Australian workers. They asked my team if a new team could "shadow" us for a while.... then we were all cut a month later.

Pros

My manager was great. The parental leave is also great.

Cons

Managers the the senior level all think they own the decision but take forever to make a decision, causing everyone below issues and problems to redo work.

fully remote, still plenty of smart engineers knocking around. For remote work, the salary is competitive

Cons

late night calls with AU/NZ. Culture is shifting in the wrong direction. No good bonus incentive
