Pros

We have all the makings of a great place. - not bad salary - reasonable amount of leave - good people - good product to be proud of

Cons

There’s only a couple and it’s only to do with management wanting to micro manage releases. It’s a bit of a ball ache tbh - waaay too much involvement from upper management. It’s to the point where I can’t actually be a Software Engineer, I’m more like a glorified administrator. In previous positions I used to ship often (at a minimum of 3 times a weeks). Now I’ll be lucky if I do it once a month. It’s all due to forms for audit pretty much. - We’ve adopted some form of ITIL which is average in my personal opinion

Relatively good pay and benefits. Good amount of leave.

Cons

Micro management. Untrusting of its employees. Makes changes to benefit bottom line but disguised as for the customer.
