Pros

Flexible schedule around core work hours. People are often passionate about their work want to do what's best for the company and treat others well. Work is often very interesting and pushing the bounds of technology.

Cons

It's been years since most have seen a pay increase/promotion, combined with increasing cost of living and increasing healthcare costs results in net pay cut year over year... While senior management continues to receive huge bonuses. Heavy losses of talent and experience due to layoffs and outsourcing. Heavy burden on those that are left to hold things together and rebuild.

Pros

Supports employees who wish to work remotely. Majority of business is done via conference calls.

Cons

I've been a Xerox employee for 10+ years. Once Xerox and ACS merged, the direction changed. Rather than the 'best practices', they selected the 'worst'. Furloughs are commonplace (never existed in Xerox). ACS did not have the processes and skills that Xerox had. The company values are direction are lost. We're all numbers on a spreadsheet.
