Pros

Flexible work and vacation schedule Great pay Easy pace

Cons

No inspiration No common vision for employees "Get it done" attitude instead of "do it right." TONS of cynicism and poor attitudes. Very little optimism or enthusiasm. Most lower and middle management was put there just because they have worked there long enough, not because they've demonstrated any exceptional leadership or skill. New ideas aren't accepted very readily - most people there have been there for 20+ years and have done things the same way the whole time. Morale is awful. No one has any faith in the CEO or the management. All feedback from managers is positive, so no one feels like they need to improve. There is a fear of admitting that something isn't going to work or is a bad idea or that someone is just not doing his job well enough.
