Permanent whitewater and layoffs

Pros

Our services and technology, and people that support our clients are great.

Cons

Sr mgmt has been doing small groups of layoffs, I believe so they don't have to report them, eliminating tenured, successful people. The compensation structure is designed to benefit their bottom line, not the people selling.

Acquisition is not easy

Pros

Xerox was a terrific place to work for tenured professionals that enjoyed working with large enterprise clients.

Cons

With the recent acquisition of ACS, Xerox is rapidly shedding all framework around their equipment sales and moving towards services offering. If an employee has anything to do with technology, that person will be a former employee very soon

Pros

Salary Nice People It's a job.

Cons

Location, Office buildings are older and not kept up. Company is going downhill, shipping all kinds of jobs offshore especially software. Very hierarchical culture. Do what your BOSS says.
